Roses: Most dictionaries would have some sort of definition referring to these simply as flowers. Yet, the dictionary of my heart defines roses as "Pure Pleasure". Especially displayed on the dining room table with decor emphasising the occasion.I grew up eating in front of the tv and don't remember but one or two occasions of eating at my mom's dining room table. My husband grew up eating (I believe) every meal including snacks at the dining room table. So the compromise in our family has been to eat "special" family meals (generally Saturday dinner) at the dining room table. Yet, more and more often my son is asking "can we have a special meal @ the table?" Next week our families entire schedule will change around summer school break and I'm looking forward to some extra "special" meals around the dining room table together.
